Through my activities working in and around the Olympic Movement in senior executive and leadership roles, I have developed a wide range of skills that I can also provide in fluent business and colloquial settings in German and French, with passable Italian too.

Strong leadership and management skills in accordance with governance policies. All-round management and team development acquired during 30 years of international leadership and management experience. 22 years of board experience as Secretary General/CEO and non-executive roles, including chairing international commissions and committees. Widespread experience with stakeholder management and negotiations, with professionals and volunteers.
As a member of the IOC Programme Commission at the bi-annual meeting in Lausanne, Switzerland, making recommendations on the composition of the Olympic and Youth Olympic Games programmes to the IOC Executive Board.
GOVERNANCE
High-level global connections and experience at the highest level of sport, political and business leaders. Culturally and politically astute and emotionally empathic to different circumstances. 30 years of international service, representation and appointments including elected positions, participation at events and meetings in 60 nations.
MEDIA-COMMERCIAL
At the PyeongChang 2018 IOC Co-ordination Meeting with stakeholders from the Local Organising Committee, City, IOC Membership, National Olympic Committees, International Federations, IOC Managerment, Olympic Broadcasting Services, future OCOGs and other experts.
In depth experience of devising governance policies and updating regulations including safeguarding, integrity and ethics, and diversity in accordance with best practice. Implementing development and youth programmes, along with social responsibility engagement.ts.
Served regularly as the official spokesperson with live broadcast, notably in dealing with a number of crisis situations. Here preparing and and delivering my speech for the candidacy as FIS President in 2021.
Extensive experience in written and broadcast media, including crisis management, compiling press releases and speeches.
Strong negotiating skills based around global commercial sponsorship and partnerships, including establishing long-term agreements.
